Documents going abroad
If your document is headed overseas
For many New York documents, county clerk certification is a step that comes before a state apostille. A notarized signature is authenticated by the clerk of the county where the notary is commissioned, and only then does the document go on for the apostille.
For documents notarized here, that step goes through the Bronx County Clerk's Office. Requirements and processing times change, so check current details with the clerk's office directly before you travel there. We can notarize the document and tell you what the next step looks like, but we cannot give legal advice or choose a document for you.
See apostille services for how we help. Apostille work is priced per document — ask for a quote.
